The Daedalic Entertainment’s game, “The lord of the rings: Gollum”, was scheduled to be released later this year on both old and new consoles, but now it has been forwarded to 2022.
In order to become more closer to its competitors (Quantic Dream, Ubisoft…), the French groupe Nacon had signed an agreement with Daedalic for the co-publishing and distribution of the new video game “The lord of the rings: Gollum”, which made the German studio postpone the launch of the new game on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC for next year.
We are forming a fellowship with @Daedalic to publish The Lord of the Rings™: Gollum™.
The game will be released in 2022 on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The two companies are joining forces with the goal of producing a game that takes full advantage of the possibilities offered by the new consoles and that meets the high expectations of the very large community of Lord of the Rings fans. This universe will also be very faithfully represented thanks to the licensing agreement with Middle-earth Enterprises, the company that owns the rights to J.R.R. Tolkien’s book, the founding work of all modern fantasy,” said the heads of Nacon and Daedalic Entertainment.
Oh, what has it got in its nasty little pocketses?
Hmmm, looks like The Lord of the Rings: Gollum Steam page to me.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, a story-driven action adventure
Daedalic Entertainment once again returns to the heart of the story of its new game: “Take on a perilous journey as Gollum, chasing the only thing that is precious to him. Gollum is skillful and cunning, but also torn by his split personality. One mind, two egos – you decide!”.
