The Huawei P50 Pro continues to unveil itself. Several months before the announcement, a Chinese informant revealed some key points in the spec sheet. The flasghip would be distinguished by the presence of a 120Hz screen, a 66W fast charge, and a 200x binocular zoom. At the same time, a leak confirms the design of the rear photo block.

a few days ago, an alleged stolen photo of the P50 Pro appeared on the SlashLeaks website, a platform that allows users to share indiscretions about products that have not yet been announced. The photo confirms most of the previous leaks, including renderings developed by OnLeaks.

Based on this leak, Concept Creator, a talented designer, developed 3D renderings showing the entire design of the P50 Pro (see the YouTube video below). Unsurprisingly, the flagship is covered with a 6.6-inch perforated screen and encircled with thin borders. On the backside, Huawei relies on a quintuple photosensor arranged in a rectangular and elongated photo block. Of course, the camera is signed Leica.

A LEAK REVEALS THE P50 PRO DATA SHEET

A few days later, a Chinese informant mentioned the P50 Pro’s datasheet on Sina Weibo, reports Gizchina. According to the leak, Huawei would rely on a 120 Hz touch screen for the Pro version. For its part, the standard P50 should be satisfied with a 90 Hz screen, like the latest P40s. In the Pro version, a Kirin 9000 SoC would be used. The standard is powered by a Kirin 9000e chipset. These would be the latest smartphones with a Kirin processor.

The battery life would be provided by large batteries that are compatible with the 66 W wired fast charge and the 55 W wireless charge. For a while, the Chinese firm considered integrating a fast recharge of 135 W before deciding to change its mind. This technology was not yet fully developed and could damage the battery. On the photography side, Huawei would have developed a 200x binocular zoom. This hybrid zoom would rely on two lenses to work. As a reminder, Huawei would announce the new P50s during the month of March 2021.
